Pacuare River White Water Rafting
Includes. 1 night accommodation at the Pacuare Lodge, 2 days rafting along the Pacuare River (Class IV), all meals, transportation to – from San Jose, naturalist guide, equipment and taxes.

Day 1: This trip will take you to Costa Rica's most beautiful river to experience world class rafting, class 3 and class 4 in scenery that is unsurpassable. The first day offers many thrills as you begin to navigate down the Pacuare River until you reach the Pacuare Lodge. In the afternoon there will also be time to hike into the rain forest, and discover the natural "water slides" of waterfalls. All meals included.

Day 2: After a hearty breakfast, you will be ready for even more rapids, and more challenging parts of the river, at the same time some of the most unspoiled scenery in the country. Stop by the riverside for a picnic lunch. Then in the afternoon, the take out of the river near the town of Siquirres and the return trip to San Jose via the spectacular Braulio Carrillo National Park. Breakfast and lunch included.

Monteverde Cloud Forest
Includes. 2 nights accommodation at the Hotel Heliconia or selected hotel, hiking tour and visit to The Monteverde Biological Reserve, visit to the Hummingbirds Gallery, entrance fees, breakfast, transportation to and from San Jose, naturalist guide, and taxes.

Day 1: Discover the beautiful area of the world-renowned cloud forest of Monteverde. This spectacular reserve is located in the mountains of the Tilaran Mountain Range, in the north west part of the country.  The drive is 3 1/2 hours (aprox.) from San Jose.  Upon arrival, explore the grounds of the hotel, or the nearby area.

Day 2: Today the local naturalist tour guide will to take you deep into the heart of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve to explore the many trails.  The morning will be spent learning all about this area with an expert guide who will explain the importance of this beautiful reserve.  A visit will be made to admire the "Hummingbird Gallery", with its many species of the brightly colored birds. Breakfast included.

Day 3: This morning there is plenty of time to visit the optional Butterfly Farm, go back again to the reserve on your own, or enjoy the peaceful surroundings and trails of the hotel.  Afternoon departure to San Jose.  Breakfast included.

Diving in Guanacaste
Includes. 4 nights lodging at the Ocotal Beach Resort, local ground transfers from/to San Jose, daily breakfast, 3 days diving, including two tanks daily, boat, guide, snacks and soft drinks on board, and tax. 

Day 1: Transfer to Ocotal Hotel at the Papagayo Gulf, where you will be staying 4 nights, while enjoying the Ocotal diving, Costa Rica's most renowned professional scuba diving operation.  The dives seize the opportunity to spot large Bull Sharks, giant Manta Rays, Eagle Rays and large schools up to five different species of fish simultaneously.

Day 2: Dive with the dive masters and PADI instructors of the Ocotal. (Daily two tank boat dives at 8:30 a.m., afternoon and night dives on request). Breakfast included.

Day 3: Dive with the dive masters and PADI instructors of the Ocotal. (Daily two tank boat dives at 8:30 a.m., afternoon and night dives on request). Breakfast included.

Tortuguero National Park & Canals
Includes. 2 nights lodging at the Hotel Pachira Lodge or selected hotel, boat tour through the Canals at Tortuguero National Park, visit to Tortuguero Village, all meals, ground and boat transfers from - to San Jose, naturalist guide, and taxes.

Day 1: An early morning departure will have you en route through one of Costa Rica's most scenic parks, Braulio Carrillo, then continue the journey heading towards the lowlands of the province of Limon, passing through banana plantations.  A boat will be waiting for you to take you into the heart of Tortuguero National Park. The comfortable lodge will be your base of discovery for the next few days.  All meals included.

Day 2: Today your naturalist tour guide will to take you to explore, to explore the intricate system of natural canals and waterways, in this lush rain forest region, as well as walking through the trails of the park, and a visit to the little village of Tortuguero. All meals included.

Day 3: This morning awake early to enjoy the lovely surroundings of Costa Rica's own "Amazon" - like area, then head back to San Jose, first by boat, and then the journey back on land.  Breakfast and lunch included.

Arenal Volcano & Tabacón Hot Springs
Includes. 2 nights lodging at the Hotel Arenal Paraiso or selected hotel, visit to the Arenal Volcano and Tabacón Hot Springs, National Park and Tabacon Resort entrance fees, transfers from - to San Jose and/or Guanacaste, breakfast and lunch or dinner, naturalist guide, and taxes.


Day 1: Today's exciting journey takes you up to the majestic Arenal Volcano, the country's most active with continuous eruptions. Explore the region of San Carlos, famous for it's fertile plantations and green scenery and relax visiting the rejuvenating Tabacon Hot Springs. Lodging at the Arenal ParaÕso Hotel. Dinner included in the tour.

Day 2: You may choose between the many exciting things to do, such as the optional tours of horseback riding, the exhilarating Canopy Tour, exploring the tree tops through a system of platforms, enjoy hotel facilities or have a second visit to the Tabacón Hot Springs. (Optional tours are not included). Breakfast & lunch included.

Day 3: Morning at your leisure to enjoy the magnificent views of the volcano and surrounding areas. In the afternoon return to San Jose and/or continue your trip to the Guanacaste Beaches. Breakfast & lunch included.

Arenal Volcano & Coter Lake Biological Reserve
Includes. 2 nights lodging at the Hotel EcoLodge, visit to the Poas Volcano National Park, the Arenal Volcano and Tabacón Hot Springs, National Park and Tabacon Resort entrance fees, boat tour to Bebedero River and Palo Verde National Park, transfers from - to San Jose and/or Guanacaste, naturalist activities at Coter Lake Biological Reserve (hiking - kayaking - horse back riding), all meals, naturalist guide, and taxes.

Day 1: We will begin discovering Costa Rica's wonders visiting the Poas Volcano. The biggest geyser crater in the world. A scenic drives past coffee and sugar plantations, up to the top of the Poas Volcano National Park. Observe the enormous crater with its deep green lake, hike into one of its many trails at this National Park.  Our journey continues to the majestic Arenal Volcano, the country's most active with continuous eruptions and visiting the rejuvenating Tabacon Hot Springs.  Lodging at the Hotel Ecolodge, nestled in the beautiful Coter Biological Reserve. Lunch & dinner included

Day 2: Today you may choose between the many exciting things to do, such as the optional tours of horseback riding, mountain biking, or the exhilarating Canopy Tour, exploring the tree tops through a system of platforms. Explore the trails of this magnificent cloud and tropical forest. The nearby Lake Coter offers opportunities for kayaking, canoeing and fishing. After lunch we will depart to The Bebedero River to enjoy a boat trip trough this river up to the Palo Verde National Park to observe the abundant wildlife. All meals included. 

Day 3: Spend the morning full of action again, or quietly enjoy the serenity of the area. In the afternoon return to San Jose and/or continue your trip to the Guanacaste Beaches. Breakfast & lunch included.

Turrialba Volcano
Includes. 2 nights lodging at the Hotel Turrialba Lodge, horse back riding tour to the Turrialba Volcano and the old lava rivers, National Park entrance fees, transfers from - to San Jose, all meals, naturalist guide, and taxes.

Day 1: Transfer from San Jose to the Turrialba Lodge, located at 2 hours from San Jose where you stay 2 nights with only the natural sounds of a mountain will lull you to sleep.  The lodge is located right at the base of the Volcano, surrounded by enormous mountains. Lunch & dinner included.

Day 2: After breakfast walk quickly along cloud forest trails, and through mountain meadows.  The more adventurous may want to ride to the craterÍs edge, where a trail descends to its floor or, if you prefer just sit, relax and admire the scenery. All meals included.Day 3: Morning at your leisure to enjoy the magnificent views of the volcano and surrounding areas. In the afternoon return to San Jose. Breakfast & lunch included.
